My News Intake

Politico

If you are looking for news issues related to politics, Washington D.C., and policy-making at home and abroad, Politico is the news outlet you want to be looking at. With stories published every few hours, it is the easiest way to stay up to date with current politics. Being a political science major, it is essential to know what is happening in the current political landscape, and politico makes that easy.

New York Times

The New York Times is a much broader news outlet and one that I use when I want news on any and everything. Covering stories from around the nation, the New York Times makes it easy to stay in touch with issues that may feel worlds away.

The Skimm

The Skimm makes finding news easy because the news actually comes to you. With daily emails sent out to briefly bring you up to speed on important things happening around the world, The Skimm is the easiest way to know a little bit about everything. If you aren't a news junkie or don't feel like you have the time to seek news out, this website may be your saving grace.

Information on world news to sports and style can be found on CNN, along with my personal favorite documentary series "This is Life with Lisa Ling."

BuzzFeed

This is not my primary news source (nor do I think it should be anyone's primary news source), but it is where I go if I want news and to take a quiz on which potato will define my future relationship status.
